Kysuce is a region located in the northwest of Slovakia. Their neighbors are the Czech Republic in the west and Poland in the north. The river Kysuca flows through the region and it includes the Javorníky mountains in the west, the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy in the north, Kysucké Beskydy in the east and Kysucká vrchovina in the south. The oldest town is Kysucké Nové Mesto.
