World War II is considered to be the largest and most widespread armed conflict in the history of mankind, which killed about 45-60 million people. There were fights in Europe, Asia and Africa, and men and women from all inhabited continents on Earth participated in the fighting. This conflict lasted for 6 years and during this time tens of millions of civilians, millions of soldiers died, and entire cities were destroyed and the incalculable damage to property and cultural heritage of humanity was caused.
